Specialty Food Group is currently hiring a Customer Service Representative in our Valparaiso food manufacturing plant. They would be responsible for working with new and existing customers regarding products, orders, and questions. This position is on site and is M-F 7 AM to 3:30 PM.Some of the essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Answer phone calls and emails, addressing incoming concerns, orders and questions from new and existing customers.Work within the following systems including EDI, SAP, and other proprietary software.Coordinate new product development and launches with customers.Create bids and manage order process from beginning to end.Work with other departments as needed to handle customer needs.Qualification Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent preferredFluent in English (a second language is a plus.)Prior customer service experience.Knowledge of SQF and SAP a plus.Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail a must.Strong computer skills: must be proficient in Windows Office Suite.Comfortable being customer facing.What we offer
