Assembly Technicians must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with attention to detail is extremely important.
*Duties and Responsibilities: *
Perform any combination of the following tasks to recieve and put parts away, pull parts for orders, assemble cable assemblies, components, subassemblies, products, or syatems.
Ability to read and comprehend work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.Identify faulty components or quality defects and perfom basic troubleshooting for electrical assemblies.Assemble and disassenble units, identifying faulty components and other defects.Prepares wire, parts and components for assembly. Label assemblies in accordance with drawing specifications. Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly.Requirements/ Qualifications for this position:
High School Diploma or equivalentIdeal candidate would have manufacturing, assembly and/or soldering experience. Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records. Strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate on detailed projects.Read and interpret assembly prints, wiring diagrams and procedures sheets. Ability to multi-task and work with a high degree of accuracy. Familiar with basic hand tools, cutters, wire strippers, hand crimpers, scissors, soldering iron and heat gun. How to apply:
