  Business Change Manager - Regulatory Affairs Department

  Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our California Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

  Responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals. Responsible for monitoring the California HMO networks as required by the California Department of Managed Health Care networks and preparing the 10% change network filings. This position will also be responsible for monitoring and filing the HMO ancillary network and alternate access requests according to regulations.

  How you will make an impact:

  Identifies potential issues, project charge, and scope.

  Leads efforts to identify best practices.

  Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.

  Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.

  Designs methods for integrating function and process.

  Conducts cost/benefit analyses.

  Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.

  Prepares exhibits, coordinates with different departments to obtain projections, goals, etc.

  Analyzes network adequacy for changes in the network.

  Coordinates responses and prepares filing to multiple comment documents.

  Minimum Requirements :

  Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 5 years process or project related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

  Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  Experience and knowledge in CA HMO networks, healthcare or managed care is highly preferred.

  Experience and knowledge of Network Adequacy regulations or regulatory compliance strongly preferred.

  Experience and knowledge of data analytics, project management, project execution, process improvement (strategic and execution) strongly preferred.

  Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and adaptability highly preferred.

  Proven ability in collaborating with cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts towards common goals strongly preferred.

  Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, strong executive presence with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties highly preferred.

  Experience and knowledge of SAS and/or Tableau is strongly preferred.

  Proficient of Microsoft Office products, most notably in Excel (data analytics and data management), Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word strongly preferred.

  For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $79,600 to $149,250
