About Administrative Assistant

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Agriculture industry, located in Moorpark, California. As an Administrative Assistant, your main role will be to support the day-to-day operations through a variety of administrative tasks, as well as managing customer inquiries and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily administrative tasks such as managing calendars and scheduling meetings

• Ensure smooth office operations by offering full-scale assistance

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for tasks such as data entry, analysis, and creating spreadsheets and reports

• Respond to phone calls and emails in both English and Spanish, ensuring exceptional customer service

• Engage with diverse groups of external callers, visitors, and internal contacts at all levels of the organization

• Maintain an effective filing system for easy retrieval of documents

• Prepare, edit, and distribute reports, presentations, and other documents as needed

• Utilize various Microsoft Office Suite applications, such as Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word, to manage tasks and correspondence

• Schedule appointments and manage calendars in an organized manner

• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role within the Agriculture industry

• Proficiency in Data Entry, Email Correspondence, and handling Inbound and Outbound Calls

• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and Word

• Ability to effectively Schedule Appointments and manage Calendar

• Fluency in Spanish and English languages

• Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

• High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
