Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role primarily involves overseeing and managing the accounting functions, leveraging accounting software systems, and ensuring financial compliance within a manufacturing industry setting.

Controller Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient management of financial data

• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial compliance and accuracy

• Develop and manage the budget processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements for review and presentation

• Execute system conversions and implementations as needed

• Resolve any financial discrepancies and answer inquiries related to accounts and finance

• Collaborate with the team to strategize and optimize financial operations

• Familiarize and work with Epicor ERP for efficient enterprise resource planning.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role such as Controller or finance-related position

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Demonstrable knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing processes

• Experience with Budget Processes

• Ability to carry out Financial Statements Consolidation

• Experience with System Conversion - Implementation

• Skilled in Financial Statement Preparation

• Knowledge of Manufacturing sector

• Proficiency in Epicor ERP software

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred

• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• High level of professionalism and ethical standards

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal financial regulations.
