Be a part of our Digital Technology journey and join the team that plays a pivotal role in evolving and delivering the digital solutions supporting production of amazing LEGO® building toys and brick sets. This is a once in a life-time opportunity to join the Processing Technology team in Manufacturing Technology.

  Core Responsibilities

Participate in creating solutions that are used in LEGO® factories all over the world.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that contributes to the development of software solutions for processing LEGO® Bricks.

Familiarize yourself in our team’s great engineering culture with focus on good craftmanship.

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture that aligns with the values of the LEGO Group.

Play your part in our team succeeding

We're a team of 8 software engineers + Lead Engineer + Designer + PM in the Manufacturing Technology department working on products that matter for our LEGO® factories worldwide. The team is responsible for enabling the decoration and assembly of LEGO Bricks, just like in the LEGO® Minifigure Visual History book. We work together with our partner teams to make sure our software solutions fit all of our LEGO® factories. Even though we're spread out, most of us hang out in our office in Budapest. Right now, we're using .net, React, Azure, and AWS. But we're open to whatever skills you bring to the table. So, if you're a junior software engineer come join us and let's build some awesome tools for the LEGO Group together!

Do you have what it takes?

Demonstrate consistent dedication to your field, actively growing expertise, and showing passion for personal development.

Contribute optimally to features and technical tasks under the mentorship of more experienced engineers.

Break down small/medium tasks into logical, iterative steps and seek clarification on uncertainties.

Take ownership of seeing features through to production release.

Make simple changes in isolated parts of a configuration area or codebase.

Proactively ask questions, explain your approach, and communicate any challenges encountered.

Exhibit curiosity and a proactive drive to learn new techniques and methodologies.

Play a role in contributing to the quality assurance process.

  What’s in it for you?

Here are some of what to expect:

Family Care Leave – We offer enhanced paid leave options for those important times.

Insurances – All colleagues are covered by our life and disability insurance which provides protection and peace of mind.

Our hybrid work policy means an average of 3 days per week in the office. The hiring team will discuss the policy and role eligibility with you during the recruitment process.

Children are our role models. Their curiosity, creativity and imagination inspire everything we do. We strive to create a diverse, dynamic and inclusive culture of play at the LEGO Group, where everyone feels safe, valued and they belong.

The LEGO Group is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity and equal pay regardless of e.g. race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, disability or gender identity.
