Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Accountant to join our client's growing team. This Senior Accountant role is a hybrid position, ideal candidates will be able to spend three days a week working from our office. The Senior Accountant will be joining a global organization as a part of their HQ Corporate Accounting team. With a history spanning over 10 years, our company is proud to have successfully placed many employees who have since received promotions.

The successful Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, preparation of financial statements, and reporting of financial results. They will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency in the company’s finances.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accounting entries related to cash, prepaids, fixed assets, and A/P.

Reconciliation of bank and balance sheet accounts.

Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly closings promptly and accurately.

Prepare financial statements and produce budget per schedule.

Assist with internal and external audits.

Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years' experience as an accountant.

In depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Advanced MS Excel skills.

Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant subject.
