T&J Landscaping & Snow Removal, Inc., Clinton Twp, MI, needs 20 temporary (04/01/24 -- 12/01/24) and full-time Landscapers to work at various jobsites in Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, Wayne and Lapeer counties of Michigan. Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Lay sod, mow, trim, plant, water, fertilize, dig, rake, install sprinklers and spread and/or spray fertilizer and insecticides. Plant trees, shrubs, flowers and grass. Must have 3-months experience. No education requirements. OJT provided. $17.55/p/h, overtime wage rate of $26.33, overtime including weekend work may be available but is not guaranteed, general schedule of 40h/w, 7am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to experience or merit. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wage due. Workers will be paid on a bi-weekly basis. The employer will make all deductions from workers' paychecks that are required by law. The employer will provide optional housing accommodations from a third-party if relocating for the position and not within reasonable transport to jobsite. If employer-arranged housing is utilized the worker will be deducted an amount that does not exceed reasonable fair market value costs based on the number of occupants but is yet to be determined. If workers request and receive a pay advance, that amount will later be deducted from their paycheck. If relocating for the position, the cost of transportation and subsistence to the place of employment will be reimbursed, if half of the employment period is completed. This reimbursement will be calculated by the exact cost of the transportation expense by airplane or bus fare, as well as subsistence expenses calculated at the minimum amount of $15.46 per 24-hour period of travel and the maximum amount of $59.00 per day. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the employment period is completed, or if dismissed early. The employer will provide daily transportation to and from the jobsite. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees that are to the benefit of the employer. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job will be provided to workers at no charge.
