The Program Administrator - Operational Excellence is responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting projects and programs that further our goal of operational excellence. You will lead several cross-functional committees so developing an internal network will be critical in this role. As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will be a problem solver and strategic thinker helping our operating teams in serving our customers.
What you'll be doing
Lead/guide the development/implementation/continuous improvement of operational programs and their implementation (S7 and Excellence Councils)
Provide guidance to deploy LEAN, 5S thinking, and other operational improvement practices
Ensure programs are aligned with strategic and tactical operational objectives
Drive the creation/implementation/maintenance of tools to support programs
Translate vision/strategy into practical program components that are meaningful
Functional system owner of S7i software
Liaison between IT and operators for system (S7i, etc.) enhancements, reporting, etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy company-wide processes and programs
Work seamlessly with all levels and areas of the company to further program objectives
Cross-train and actively participate in other assigned projects among the team
What the successful candidate needs to have:
Bachelor's Degree - preferably in Business, Engineering or related field
Able to complete assigned tasks with minimal direction
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong meeting facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
Build relationships across all company areas, levels, and cultures
Excellent computer skills (MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Projects, and PowerPoint)
Possess strong planning skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Additional Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
For safety reasons, must be able to communicate effectively in English
Travel is estimated at 15-30%
Sit for extended periods of time
Lift and move up to 10 pounds
Communicate information and ideas so others will understand
Safely walk, climb ladders, etc. typically found in industrial settings
