Reference #: 1327Harmony Biosciences is recruiting for an Associate Director, Trade and Distribution in our Plymouth Meeting, PA location. In this role you will be responsible for specialty pharmacy adherence and persistence initiatives, as well as overseeing day-to-day channel management to support the brand. This role demands driving alignment and fostering a high level of cross-functional collaboration to ensure operational excellence and compliance. The position requires a highly organized and motivated individual who can work cross-functionally to accomplish assigned objectives. Additionally, the role involves managing specialty pharmacy service offerings, implementing new initiatives, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics essential for overseeing the specialty pharmacy distribution network. This position will report to the Senior Director of Trade and Distribution.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develop and maintain relationships with Specialty Pharmacy partners.Monitor specialty pharmacy adherence and persistence initiatives, analyze program trends, explore best practices, and contribute to the development or refinement of strategies and tactics.Oversee the timely and accurate collection of adherence data, conducting thorough analysis to effectively transform raw analytics into actionable insights.Assist with quarterly business reviews to ensure strategic alignment and continuous improvement in performance.Cultivate robust internal and external relationships, utilizing expertise to enhance the value proposition related to the patient experience.Engage in direct interaction with field teams to facilitate the timely resolution of customer issues.Work closely with Legal and Compliance to ensure specialty pharmacy initiatives are aligned with Harmony's values and principles, as well as the relevant laws and regulations.Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred BA/BS required, MBA/MS preferred8+ years pharmaceutical industry experience required; 5+ years experience working within Market Access/Trade in a specialty market required ; Experience with rare/orphan diseases and specialty pharmacies strongly preferred.Experience with understanding the requirements for data feeds/integration and associated reportingUnderstanding and proficiency in data analysis and reporting are a plusExperience of strong partnership working with both corporate and field-based teams.High ethical & quality standards and lives them through actions and communication.Strong analytic skills to evaluate trends and identify opportunities for program improvements.Demonstrated success in managing relationships and operations in a pharmaceutical healthcare environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to colleagues, business partners, stakeholders and upper management across varied styles and cultures (written, verbal, and presentation)Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office SuitePhysical demands and work environment:Domestic travel is estimated to be 30% of the time for this position.While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.Manual dexterity required to use computers, tablets, and cell phone.Continuous sitting for prolonged periods.Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision.What can Harmony offer you?Medical, Vision and Dental benefits the first of the month following start dateGenerous paid time off and Company designated HolidaysCompany paid Disability benefits and Life Insurance coverage401(k) Retirement Savings PlanPaid Parental leaveEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Company sponsored wellness programsProfessional development initiatives and continuous learning opportunitiesA certified Great P ace to Work for five consecutive years based on our positive, values-based company culture
