About Nuclear Medicine Technologist *On-Call*

  Description

  Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned.

  Required qualifications:

  Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

  Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Or

  Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary

  Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

  Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Or

  Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

  Upon hire: New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

  Upon hire: New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification ARRT(N) or NMTCB within 6 months of hire.
