Job Details Our Assistant Nursing Care Coordinator (ANCC) will: Assist the Director of Medical-Surgical Nursing in delegating and coordinating nursing care activities of all patients on the nursing unit Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continual professional growth Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education. What you’ll bring: Passion for Medical-Surgical Nursing and an interest in growing as a leader in Nursing 1+ Years of RN experience working in Med-Surg and/or Telemetry in a hospital based environment Experience with Post-surgical, Orthopedics, and Bariatric Surgical patients preferred Previous leadership experience preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Salary Range USD $52.00 - USD $66.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
