　　SUMMARY

　　Assists department supervisor with overseeing activities of employeesworking in shops of an assembly or manufacturing section. Assists withplanning, assigning work, and implementing procedures or policies.Suggests methods for improving production processes or operatingconditions. May perform other job functions in other departments asproduction schedules demand.

　　ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: May be assigned other duties asrequired or needed

　　Assists departmental supervisor with supervising and coordinating thework of employees operating machines and working on assembly lines

　　Preparing work schedules, assigning work, and overseeing the workproduct

　　Providing work direction and reviewing work performance

　　Ensures all work is performed to customer specifications

　　Assists with trouble-shooting and maintenance on all machines

　　Transport loads using a forklift
