Application Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites through the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Engage the client at the technical level and internal team to create the application design and build including containerization, API, microservices creation, or other forms of modernization under the guidance of an architect. Define the application design and delivery requirements for hybrid cloud solutions. Provide technical expertise to migrate and modernize cloud applications. Responsible for proof of concepts (POCs) to evaluate different modernization-related challenges. Responsible for the delivery and adherence to process, standards, and best practices. Responsible for implementing recommendations under the guidance of the architect on the performance, availability, and scalability of the applications. Provide support to the testing team. Test and validate the developed applications.
