As a Senior Accountant your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and oversee precise financial records in QuickBooks, ensuring adherence to accounting principles.

• Manage, review, and reconcile invoices to keep accounts payable and receivable records accurate.

• Execute and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and activities related to month-end closing.

• Participate in the creation and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to entry level members of the accounting team.

• Perform regular balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial operations.

• Ensure a smooth month-end close process.

• Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks.

• Maintain the general ledger with precision and accuracy.

Requirements

The ideal Senior Accountant will have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Minimum of two years of experience in a senior accountant role or similar position

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial records are accurate and aligned.

• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, capable of verifying the accuracy of financial data.

• Skilled in conducting Bank Reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.

• Extensive knowledge of General Ledger management, capable of maintaining and updating financial information.

• Ability to prepare and maintain Journal Entries, ensuring accurate record keeping.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of using advanced functions for financial calculations and data analysis.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial data is updated and accurate.

• Knowledge of NetSuite software, able to efficiently use it for financial management and reporting.

• Familiarity with Oracle software, capable of using it for financial data management.

• Experience with SAP, able to use it for various financial operations and data management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
