C5T is seeking an Air Mobility Operations and Planning Subject MatterExpert for a critical role in a research effort supporting the Air ForceResearch Laboratory and Air Mobility Command (AMC) transformationefforts. The Air Mobility Operations and Planning SME providesexecutive-level assistance solving unusually complex problems in supportof policy and process development, management, and/or organizationalimprovement. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives on using theirdeep domain expertise, expert communication, and teambuilding skills toensure the success of their team in support of the client\'s goals. Thesuccessful candidate will possess in-depth understanding of theoperational planning process as applied to air mobility operations andhas significant experience through practice and education. Thesuccessful candidate will ensure team efforts to develop and articulateinnovative solutions to challenging research tasks are always informedby current understanding of DOD and USAF doctrine, concepts, andtactics. The successful candidate will work daily with diverse projectstakeholders, including junior and senior government civilian andmilitary personnel, contractor personnel from other companies, and otherC5T personnel.
Responsibilities include:
Provide air mobility operations and Joint Operation Planning Process forAir (JOPP-A) subject matter expertise to support design andaccomplishment of organizational improvement projects.
Provide expert domain knowledge, analysis, and recommendations tosupport the achievement of the team\'s requirements and customer needs.
Actively participate in research project design, planning, and executionproviding creative and practical ideas for solutions in a collaborativeenvironment.
Use domain experience and understanding of doctrine, concepts,practices, and procedures to coordinate, conduct and/or facilitateengagements with customers and critical external stakeholders.
Analyze recommended modifications to organizational systems andprocesses around doctrine, tactics, and concepts of operations thattrack Air Force, OSD, and joint planning documents.
Create and provide presentations and reports to inform diversestakeholder audiences.
This position will primarily support one R&D contract but may be askedto contribute on other billable and/or internal projects where theirexpertise is relevant.
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum of 5 years\' experience in Air Mobility Operations and planning
Experience in Air Mobility Command (AMC) Headquarters and/or similarstaff
Understanding of current DoD and USAF doctrine, tactics, and concepts ofoperations related to air mobility operations and planning
Familiarity with the operational planning process at a Combatant Commandor air component headquarters
Bachelor\'s degree in relevant field
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, and manage projects fromconcept to production
Must be able to thrive in a collaborative team environment, and quicklyadapt to change
Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
Must be able to acquire a security clearance (Secret or higher)
Must be a US Citizen
Desired:
Rated flying experience in Air Mobility Command
Intermediate and/or Senior Service School graduate
Process design and improvement experience and/or training
Current Secret or higher security clearance
AMC/A3 staff experience
Graduate of Multi-Domain Warfare School, Joint Planners Course, orsimilar operational planning course
