[Gloyer-Taylor Laboratories (GTL) is a growing Aerospace Engineering company developing a range of technologies including high performance liquid hydrogen storage systems which will enable a new class of aircraft and rocket systems.
[GTL is looking to fill aerospace/mechanical engineering positions to assist in research and development efforts for aerospace systems and launch vehicle components.

Conduct research on many different tasks/subtasks of government contracts and internal research and development projects[Perform engineering tasks to support the development of technologies and components applicable to aerospace systems such as launch vehicles, interceptors, and hypersonic systems. This includes, but is not limited to:]{helvetica=""}Formulate conceptual designs of aerospace products and systemsDevelop design criteria for aerospace products and systemsEvaluate designs for conformance to engineering principles, customer requirements, and GTL quality standardsConduct experimental, environmental, operational, or stress tests on models or prototypes of aerospace systems or equipmentAssist in writing technical reports or other documentation for use by engineering staff, management, and/or customersSupport business development efforts such as writing proposals, meeting customers, and identifying business opportunitiesSupport GTL management as necessary[Desired Skills/Experience:[Since GTL offers such a diverse line of products and services, candidates are expected to be flexible and comfortable working on multiple assignments with varying subject matter. This would include taking prototypes from concept all the way to physical, hands-on construction and testing. Candidates should be comfortable working with both hand tools and power tools. Rigorous understanding of engineering principals in the support of developing novel solutionsExperience in the design and manufacturing of aerospace components, composite structures, propulsion systems, and launch vehiclesExperience in testing and evaluation of aerospace components including cryogenic testing, high temperature testing, material evaluation, and propulsion system testing.Experience with the application of electrical systems, control systems, sensors, and transducers in order to support development and testing efforts.Experience with finite element analysis (FEA), CFD, and fluid systems design and analysisITAR Requirements:
