About HR Generalist

Description We are in search of a proficient HR Generalist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Westlake, Ohio. This role focuses on benefits administration and other HR-related tasks. The successful candidate will be working onsite, answering benefit questions, managing 401(k) funding, and performing various administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Administering benefits to employees, answering their inquiries and resolving any issues related to benefits

• Processing 401(k) funding, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely

• Performing a variety of administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, and filing documents

• Utilizing MS Office tools, particularly Excel for spreadsheet work, and maintaining proficiency in typing and Excel formulas

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations

• Providing support in data entry tasks, maintaining accuracy and efficiency

• Assisting in basic troubleshooting tasks as needed

• Managing document scanning and filing systems, ensuring all documents are properly stored and easily retrievable

• Demonstrating adaptability and the ability to work independently, taking initiative in tasks

• Showcasing strong attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a HR Generalist role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficient in Excel Formulas and MS Office Suite

• Experienced in performing administrative tasks and data entry

• Knowledge of 401k and RRSP Administration

• Familiar with Benefits Administration and Document Scanning

• Basic troubleshooting skills required

• Must be organized and adept at filing documents

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must have a keen attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high levels of accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
