Description We are offering an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the machinery manufacturing industry, based in Williston, South Carolina, United States. The role will primarily involve providing administrative support to the Human Resources (HR) department, including handling HR-related paperwork and assisting with onboarding processes.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with filing backlog and basic HR tasks
• Organizing and processing paperwork related to HR administration
• Using Microsoft Excel and Word for administrative tasks and correspondence
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Handling email correspondence related to HR inquiries
• Coordinating new hire orientations and onboarding processes
• Assisting with retirement benefits administration and insurance benefits verification
• Maintaining communication within the department and with other departments as necessary
• Assisting in the completion of required paperwork for new hires and existing employees.
Please note that this role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required
• Demonstrated ability to handle Human Resources (HR) Administration tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
• Familiarity with compliance procedures and policies is essential
• Experience in filing and managing paperwork efficiently is desired
• Ability to handle Email Correspondence professionally and promptly
• Previous experience conducting New Hire Orientations is beneficial
• Knowledge of Retirement Benefits and ability to Verify Insurance Benefits is required
• Experience with onboarding processes and procedures is preferred
• Proficiency in processing paperwork, including completing required paperwork and other administrative tasks.
