Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research is looking to fill our Accounts Receivable Manager role. In this position you will supervise, monitor, and evaluate all day-to-day account activity. In addition, you will be establishing financial status by working with systems to collect, analyze, verify, and report financial information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees daily operations of invoicing and account activityMonitor and analyzes accounting dataReports financials data to accounting firmLeads and motivates staffEncourages a continuous improvement cultureMonitors and reviews the performance of direct reports, and provides prompt and objective coaching, mentoring, and counseling.Resolves performance, job satisfaction, and interpersonal issues, balancing employee and department needsEstablishes performance targets and develops and leads team to achieve these targetsPerforms other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
US Citizenship requiredAssociates degree in Business, Finance, Or Accounting required5-10 years' experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable required3-5 years supervisory experience requiredUnderstanding and knowledge of all accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulationsEffective business judgment and decision-making skillsExperience coaching, mentoring, and training staff at all levels.Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skillsProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as other organizational/planning toolsAbility to adapt to changing work environmentsAbility to prioritize and multi-taskStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsStrong time-management skillsAbility to stand, sit, or move around for prolonged periods of timeBenefits Offered:
