Description

　　Accounting Manager

　　Our manufacturing client, located in Tecumseh, MI, is looking for an Accounting Manager to support their team on an interim basis. The ideal candidate has a strong Accounting background and great interpersonal skills. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity!

　　The day-to-day responsibilities will include:

　　Issue timely and complete financial statements

　　Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and that all reasonable discounts are taken

　　Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly

　　Process payroll in a timely manner

　　Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed and Oversee all banking transactions

　　Provide support with customer quotes, order tracking, sales and working with customers

　　Requirements

　　The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets:

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

　　Monthly Financial Statement preparation required

　　Proficiency in bank reconciliations, Command of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

　　Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable, such as JobBOSS

　　Strong problem solving and analytical skills

　　Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
