The Data Governance Foundation Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating governance processes and data. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided.
Responsibilities:
Interprets data and makes recommendations.
Researches and interprets factual information.
Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the day-to-day execution activities and meetings
Identifies policy gaps and formulates, facilitates and reviews policies, standards and procedures with program leads and managers
Analyzes, interprets and synthesizes information to develop content and design materials for Town Halls, Staff meetings, and other presentations
Researches and communicates project or program status, including any potential risks, issues or dependencies that need escalation or change to project or program leads
Liaise with other Citi risk organizations to determine and maintain appropriate alignment
Develops new data collection and evaluation approaches, including formatting of design, compiling data, and its relevancy and metrics
Conducts analysis, makes recommendations, and completes tasks that contribute to the implementation of assigned data governance projects such as establishing and/or integrating the data governance and/or Data Risk and Controls Policies, standards and procedures including industry best practices with Data Governance leads and managers
Identify and analyze options for data concern remediation, and where required, implement compensating measures

The Data Quality Analyst 2 is responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of Data Quality processes. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to improvement and performance activities by providing measurement, evaluation, and assessment services relating to Data Quality and data production.
Responsibilities:
o Accountable for monitoring, assessing, analysing, and/or evaluating processes and data to ensure their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
o Interprets data and makes recommendations
o Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices
o Present information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity
o Report Data Quality defects through the Data Concern Remediation Management process
o Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
o 0-2 years of relevant experience
o Experience with basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
o Basic knowledge of Collibra and other Data Governance industry standard tools
o Basic knowledge of SAS, Python, R, Matlab or another similar program.
o Intermediate proficiency in System Query Language (SQL)
o Basic knowledge of Tableau (report consumer, developer, etc.)
o Demonstrated understanding of Database structures
o Working knowledge of industry practice and standards
o Analytical skills and attention to detail
o Flexible, team-oriented, and good interpersonal skills
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team
o Ability to communicate effectively
