Position Description:
What You Will Do
Analyzes and prepares billing information for all transport and large volume rate usage customers and ensures accuracy of measured volumes for all electronically measured meters.
Verify and perform calculations and analysis including but not limited to:
Rate/Tariff Schedules
Discounts
Variances
Ensure accuracy of volume and billing information for transportation customers and volumes for all electronically measured meters involving:
Reconciliation of measurement system data to accounting system
Verify new account information
Monitoring of measurement systems
Verify Electronic Flow Measurement volumes
Calculate and prepare prior period adjustments
Estimate unrecorded usage periods
Analyze and monitor usage of transportation customers based on previous billing history.
Respond to customer and operator billing inquires.
Oversee Electronic Flow Meter (EFM) measurement for correct billing.
Interact with direct reports, corporate personnel, regional personnel, contractors, customers, and vendors on issues including measurement activities, usage, billing, equipment selection, and employee issues.
Review, develop, and prepare information including:
Meter validation reports
Monthly billing error and pre-bill reports
Volume statements
Billing summary, overdue, zero volume and alarm reports
Operator statements and Customer volume reports to marketers
Volume/edit reports
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job
Employee may perform additional duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, engineering or related field plus previous accounting experience
Knowledge of gas measurement techniques and terminology.
Experience analyzing billing information related to estimating usage and evaluating multiple forms of measurement data.
Experience with the application of basic math, algebra, and statistics.
Demonstrated ability with use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including computers and applicable software.
Experience and training including:
Industrial billing procedures
Customer Service System with knowledge of system orders
Gas Measurement Systems including field measurement
Company tariffs, rates, and industrial terminology
Experience reading and interpreting applicable operating manuals, measurement data, industry publications, company policies, procedures, rate tables, and company tariffs.
Experience researching, compiling, and preparing various internal and external reports, statements, policies, procedures, and correspondence.
Interact, advise, and communicate effectively.
Experience with and knowledge of natural gas distribution and transmission operations.
Experience leading, directing, supervising and training.
Read and write fluently in English.
Applicable driver’s license
Mobility to travel in office facilities.
Communicate and exchange information or instructions.
Sufficient to perform job duties.
