Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
Oversee end-to-end payroll administration, including data input, validation, and processing.
Ensure accurate and timely calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions.
Collaborate with finance to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Compliance and Reporting:
Stay up-to-date on payroll-related regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Prepare and submit payroll reports to regulatory authorities.
Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
Employee Support:
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and concerns.
Assist employees in understanding payroll policies and procedures.
Address and resolve payroll-related discrepancies promptly and professionally.
System Management:
Utilize HRIS and payroll systems to input, manage, and update employee payroll data.
Collaborate with IT to implement system upgrades and improvements.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and organized payroll records for audit purposes.
Uphold confidentiality and security standards for payroll information.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience with a specific focus on payroll administration.
In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax codes, and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in using HRIS and payroll software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Requirements
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Skilled at time management
1+ years of human resources experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Professional in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Highly organized and self-motivated
Bachelor's degree preferred, will consider without based on experience
Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence and interact at all levels across the organization
