The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides comprehensive services to 740 civilly committed clients. Services include sex offense specific treatment, education programming, therapeutic recreation, vocational programming, and volunteer services.
MSOP St. Peter is a residential treatment facility for clients who have been court-ordered to receive ongoing treatment in a secure setting. As clients progress in treatment, they may petition to transition to MSOP Community Preparation Services (CPS). Clients must petition the Special Review Board and Commitment Appeal Panel to be granted a transfer to CPS from inside the secure perimeter at MSOP St. Peter or Moose Lake campus. CPS is a less restrictive, unlocked residential setting on the grounds of the MSOP St. Peter campus located outside of the secure perimeter.

The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) CPS in St. Peter is seeking a talented Clinician to work on the leading edge of the comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of individuals who have been civilly committed to receive ongoing treatment in a secure setting.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Co-facilitate core therapy groups and provide assistance to clients as assigned.
Prepare and present psychoeducational modules, monitor and evaluate progress toward learning goals.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical work.
Participate in staff meetings, case consultation sessions and special projects as assigned for the purpose of enhancing MSOP programming and for professional development
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field AND One year of experience providing behavioral health servicesOR
Master‘s degree in psychology, social work, or related field, which included training or experience in providing behavioral health services,Preferred Qualifications
