Job Description

　　Our client is looking for experienced SDET's to join their backend services team. This is a remote, long term opportunity. There are a variety of projects that these individuals will support around automating processes within this group. One of the teams is focused on a project around how they can deliver clips of content related to ongoing live feeds (think sporting events, weather etc). The other team within this group is the enhancements team. This team touches all the services that don't have a product associated to them. The primary responsibility for these SDETs will be to test java based code on the backend in and AWS environment. This person will also need to test AWS as sometimes they are testing more than an API request. They might be testing AWS, or workflows that are created. There are a lot of asynchronous things happening within this project and it will be this persons job to monitor the workflow and make sure the different steps are happening when they should. The environment also includes Jira, Confluence and test rails.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　8 + years of testing experience and experience with backend Java testing (priority is recent experience vs years of)

　　Experience with AWS

　　Experience and knowledge of Postman for API testing

　　Experience with REST Assured

　　Experience in building automation test harnesses

　　Comfortable developing automation scripts using JavaScript, Chai, and WebdriverIO null
