Our client has an immediate opening for a Legal and Human Resources Manager. The Legal and Human Resources Manager is expected to uphold our values and standards and is responsible for managing legal and HR for the Company. Primary legal focus is corporate, commercial and employment law, while HR responsibilities cover all HR operations, including benefits and compensation. Position will report to the President. This position is hybrid with two days per week expected to be worked in office at the Corporate Offices in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Additional travel may be required from time to time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Research relevant laws and regulations and draft reports for senior management.
Ensure contracts, policies, and procedures adhere to current regulations.
Track and administer Company contracts.
Assist in drafting business terms for distribution agreements, licenses, SOWs, LOIs, LOAs, NDAs, MOUs, etc.
Oversee and manage outside counsel as needed for specific matters.
Assist in the development, drafting, and updating of internal office policies, SOPs, and training programs.
Audit Company SOPs, policies, and governance for compliance.
Provide support for company benefits and compensation-related matters.
Maintain all benefits platforms and supervise the reconciliation of benefits.
Coordinate hiring efforts.
Oversee annual review process.
Manage the Company's trademark and copyright portfolios, monitoring of Trademark Watches, and coordinate with Trademark Counsel.
Maintain Corporate Records for the Company and coordinate same with Corporate Counsel.
Organize and maintain company documents and files related to contract, legal, and HR matters.
Support company regarding employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
Support recruitment efforts by collaborating with relevant departments to understand the staffing needs and create detailed job descriptions and specifications for open positions.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant and up to date.
Other duties, projects and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Salary-$70k-$90k +/- DOE

Education and Experience Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience. Not Required but Preferred: Paralegal Certificate and/or HR Certificate and/or JD.
Experience: Practical experience required in key areas of HR: policies, procedures, payroll, recruiting, benefits, counseling, and employment laws. Practical experience required in key areas of corporate and commercial law: contract lifecycle, corporate formalities, compliance, reporting, corporate filings, and drafting reports and correspondence. A minimum of 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience required.
Proven success as a detail oriented, hands-on, self-starter with excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills required. Language Skills Fluency in English required. Fluency in Japanese preferred. Business level in other languages a plus.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge or above in Microsoft Office Suite and in particular Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
