Opportunity
The Program Manager, Onboarding Experience is responsible for the development, direction, planning, and consistent execution of scalable onboarding processes throughout the world of Kohler, assuring all new hires have an onboarding journey that is reflective of Kohler’s global brands.
This role will provide strategic vision, thought partnership, solutions, consultation and coaching throughout the world of Kohler. Developing a structure and regionally flexible processes that assure the consistent delivery of content – at global, regional and local levels – is key to success. Strength in building effective and collaborative working relationships with those that deliver new hire onboarding will be critical to assure program implementation success.
Specific Responsibilities
Lead the transformation of the new hire onboarding and associate journeys by creating, executing and driving implementation of onboarding strategies and solutions across multiple employee types (manufacturing, hospitality and administrative professionals) and across varied geographies.
Design best-in-class new hire experiences through partnership with Talent Acquisition to create a seamless connection of pre-boarding and onboarding activities.
Develop forward-looking options for content delivery that meet the needs of our flexible workforce.
Partner with a Digital Project Manager to implement a digital platform that will optimize the onboarding experience.
Oversee the delivery of the onboarding journey – the experience, the content – ultimately throughout all Kohler locations, allowing flexibility within a framework.
Lead in the development of content (videos, digital learning design, etc.), particularly for global programs, with internal and external partners.
Develop appropriate listening strategy to assure we are gathering feedback from new hires, and implement improvements based upon that feedback.
Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to optimize the onboarding enrollment process within Kohler’s Learning Management System.
Lead reporting, measurement and analytics of new hire experience and initiatives by conducting, compiling and summarizing stakeholder feedback and applicable talent data. Make recommendations and incorporate changes to enhance offerings based on feedback.
Develop and maintain the onboarding playbook, methodology and steps to successfully onboard a new hire, reviewing and refreshing no less than annually.
Meet routinely with HR team members delivering onboarding to provide training, coaching and mentorship; using opportunity to discuss risk, review KPI’s and collaborate on strategies to improve effectiveness of the onboarding process at each individual’s location.
Keep informed of local market and competitive trends and leverages these insights to develop appropriate site-based HR strategies and solutions.
Drive diversity and inclusion strategies to embrace new hires of all backgrounds and to support the early learning (onboarding) of all associates in an inclusive environment.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
Prior experience designing, implementing and managing new hire programs
Demonstrated experience navigating across multiple geographies or a global matrixed organization to drive outcomes.
HR change agent who thrives in ambiguity, is flexible, and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate plans into phased actions along with ability to use data and reporting to drive strategic decisions.
Results-oriented individual who’s able to convert strategy into action, develop processes, and manage multiple implementations and deadlines at once.
Strong executive communication and presentation skills to communicate across all levels of the organization globally.
Ability to use a high level of tact, diplomacy, discretion and empathy/understanding in a diverse work environment.
HR business partner or equivalent experience, particularly in both administrative and manufacturing environments, is preferred
ServiceNow experience preferred.
Onsite or Hybrid – 60% onsite and 40% remote

The salary range for this position is $91,950 - $116,800. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
