Packaging Intern

　　We're looking for an Intern to support our team! This is an exciting opportunity to learn and work in a fast-paced environment where you will build business relationships and develop key skills needed in the corporate world. You will work under the leaders of our team, while contributing to the development of business needs for "Brands that Inspire".

　　The Intern will work with the Sr. Packaging Developer and be mentored in their designated departments.

　　The intern will work on an assigned project while assisting with everyday business needs.

　　The Intern is a well-rounded student with good academic standing. They must be creative, organized, and ready to learn and work with a team.

　　 In this role you will be responsible for:

　　Improving and standardizing the Packaging Testing Laboratory, which may include: Updates to existing Test Methods Creation of training aids Designing of tools to interface with existing gages Identifying need for calibration, repair, maintenance or decommissioning Setup of currently unused equipment Collecting and compiling data on existing supplier stock components Developing a component library Creating searchable and sortable supporting documents for said library that may cover the following: Technical details and characteristics Available / feasible assembly combinations References to previously completed test methods and relations Functional performance based data collection Defining general-use quality standards for commonly used packaging processes Expanding and streamlining the programming of proprietary automation equipment

　　 QUALIFICATIONS

　　We'd love to see candidates who have:

　　 Essential:

　　Students who are in their junior year and working toward a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Must be able to work 40 hours per week during the summer of 2024 Exceptional organizational skills and great attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills

　　 Desirable:

　　Degree concentration in areas relating to Engineering (Packaging, Mechanical) Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach A natural aptitude for problem solving and critical thinking A curious mind open to knowledge and instruction Beginner+ level experience with the following: CAD software Computer programming 3D printing

　　 Base Salary Range: $25 an hour
