DescriptionPlease note, this position can sit anywhere within the First Merchants footprintPosition Goals:Provide analytical support of compliance function with primary federal and state regulations and statutes for the assigned Line of Business (LOB.) Support collection and reporting of data for department exams and audits.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform data analysis in support of assigned LOB compliance function.Collects and maintains compliance-related data or records that are accurate, complete, and fulfill legal requirements.Support preparation and communication of formalized fair lending analysis and monitoring reporting.Assist with the annual Fair Lending Risk Assessment.Provide support of regulatory examinations for assigned LOB.Provide analytical support of annual assigned LOB Enterprise Risk Management Assessment.Assist in compiling documents for the Consumer Compliance Department related exams, audits and reviews.Documents activities or processes that are meant to track or ensure compliance of organizational processes or functions. Identifies gaps in documentation, or potential areas of non-compliance, and suggests resolutions.Ensures systems are updated appropriately. Responds to standard requests for documentation or records based on established guidelines; refers more complex or confidential inquiries to management.Maintains a repository of forms, handbooks, policies, or other documents that are needed to comply with applicable regulations or standards.Required Qualifications:Education - High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Experience - Minimum of two years of related experience.Preferred Qualifications:Associates or bachelor's degree.Familiarity with creating reports, testing and monitoring.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
