  About the Role

  The purpose of the role is to build and implement a compelling Join Business plan which unlocks growth opportunities and ensure a balanced and profitable growth for the 3 C´s – Customer, Consumer and Company,through deep insight into customers’ strategy, process and culture to drive growth.

  In this role you ‘ll:

  Deliver outstanding results for the Off Trade (retail) customers and Diageo through a sustained dedication to priority outcomes delivered through the effective leadership and demonstrating of multi-functional resources;Ensure we identify and successfully exploit all opportunities to extract value for Diageo and for the customers at every stage of the value chain;Dive deep on business insight to support the decision making process;Deliver maximized return on investment through accurately controlled and led customer´s P&L in line with Trade Terms architecture and Net Revenue Management principles;Adhere to consistent business processes and clear ways of working;Become the category captain to our key customers, making the shopper purchase easy, accessible and available;Improve distribution and ensure a big launch for Diageo´s innovations;Ensure brilliant execution of differentiated customer plans, through deep understanding and awareness of competitor strategies and activities;Inject agility and speed of decision-making;Ensure capabilities and behaviors are embedded and sustained through ongoing role-modelling and mentor.

  You will be the decision maker for:

  P&L accountability at Customer level;Customers annual agreements negotiations;Off- Trade customer strategy(ies)/Business Plan: Resolving customer activity plans across territory to a great outcome for everyone equation;Investment allocation to drive profitable and balanced growth;Any course correction/investment adjustments required at account level;Any changes to distribution levels/availability and assortment optimization;Business Performance Management: Determines channel/customer level the best view forecast submission;Innovation launch – Identifies and decides best investment and activation opportunities to ensure a big launch impact – distribution, visibility, communication and promo plan; Prioritisation –Determines levels of resources (Field/Supply etc) required to support activation;Customer Value chain management: Resolves the best opportunities to lead cost and improve value at a customer level;Deployment of selling tools - selection of the best activities per store visitedCustomer proposition – what selling tools, propositions to apply to best meet customer needs;Journey planning, call priorities.

  About You

  For this role you'll need to be:

  An outstanding strategic relationship manager with ability to plan strategically with customers and jump from the strategy to the implementation;Strong negotiation skills;Highly commercially aware, creative with financial and analytical skills;Highly positive problem solver, able to create new possibilities and lead through ambiguity;Ability to gain momentum and to inspire change internally and externally;Strong team spirit and unconditional collaboration attitude.

  You have:

  Validated experience of al least 3 years in a Commercial role in the FMCG sector, preferably with experience on RGM, Category Management;A BSc/MSc degree of a high academic institution would be considered a plus;Fluency in English;High numerical literacy.
