The Field Applications Scientist that supports our Gyros Protein Technologies business has responsibility for application support to and training of Gyrolab users on customer site according to defined SOPs.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Stay updated on all relevant procedures and processes (SOPs) linked to the role as defined by Gyros. The employee is also responsible to report back to management if these processes need to be updated.Support sales processParticipate customer meetings as application expertSupport evaluation of the needs of potential purchasers from an application perspective. Develop plans for customer evaluation projects.Attend scientific conferencesPerform user trainingProvide application support to customersReport and document relevant information on customer activity in information managements systems and to other functions within Sales & Marketing department.Perform laboratory work in-house and on customer site.Qualifications/Education:
Masters degree (or higher) in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Biotechnology or similar, or relevant industry experience.English written and spoken.Good communication and computer skills.Minimum of five years' experience with assigned product rangeExperience with ligand binding assays, inclusive of assay or method development.Compensation/Benefits:
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and compensation for this position. The package includes base salary, commission, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k/Match.
Base Salary Range for this position is $90,000-$110,000.
