Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking to hire an Embedded Controls Engineer for Defense projects in New Hudson, MI. This team is responsible for embedded controls software for ground combat vehicles. The ideal candidate will have previous DoD/ground combat vehicle experience and want to work in an R&D environment. This is an onsite role in New Hudson, MI. Candidates must be willing to be onsite on a project needed basis.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　* 5+ years of Embedded C Controls experience (Not PLC)

　　* Controls experience on mechatronic systems

　　o Examples:

　　o Motion control

　　o Supervisory control

　　 SCADA

　　 High Voltage (HV) system coordination

　　* Simulink / Stateflow knowledge

　　* Communication protocol knowledge

　　o CAN

　　o Ethernet (TCP/IP, EtherCAT)

　　o RS422/485

　　* Linux experience

　　* Strong background with commissioning new systems (needs to enjoy being hands-on)

　　* Bachelor's Degree

　　* Must be a USC -- able to obtain a secret clearance if necessary * DoD background

　　* Communication protocol knowledge

　　o Distributed Data Systems (DDS)

　　o Modbus null
