　　The Echo technologist is an individual who performs cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures as ordered by a staff physician with minimal supervision from the Imaging Management team.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school of Medical-Cardiac Ultrasound or equivalent educ/experience.

　　Equivalent training.

　　National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire. Or,

　　National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.

　　National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

　　1 year of experience.
