TheDirect Support Professional (DSP)provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

Oak RoadWest is an all-female house made up of seven awesome middle-aged ladies and very caring staff! The ladies love to shop, go out to eat, walk around the neighborhood, have spa days, or just sit on the deck at home while soaking up the sun. The home is a 6 bedroom 3 bathroom split level home in Mahopac off of Secor Road in a very loving and family-oriented neighborhood, just a few minutes’ walk to Lake Secor. If you want to develop meaningful relationships and help these ladies reach their fullest potentials,Oak RoadWest is the residence for you!

A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

HOURS: 40 hours weekly - Sunday thru Wednesday 10p-8a

Starting Salary: $18.44 - $20.29 per hour plus any additional shift differentials as applicable
