Do you live on the Southwest side of Jacksonville and carry construction bookkeeping experience? This vastly growing construction company seeks an experienced bookkeeper who has performed WIPS, project costs, AP, AR, reconciliations, balance sheets, journal entries, and GL management. This role sits in Starke, FL about 30 mins west of Middleburg, must be willing to go in office 100%. MUST be proficient with Quickbooks, experience with ProCore is a plus. Perm Placement - working directly for the company Company pays 100% Health insurance 3% 401k match PTO

Responsibilities
Executive Assistant / Accounting:
Answering phones / greeting customers / guests Responsible for maintenance the office supplies and any items needed Responsible for accurate record keeping of accounting records including: Setting up locating all unknown address for projects, customers, and vendors Accurate maintenance and collection of accounts receivable including sending notices to customers nearing the 60 & 90 day threshold Sending all notice to owners and maintaining accurate records for means & methods for filing liens and notice of non-payments Bank reconciliations Process invoices, accounts receivable and payable, and purchase orders and maintain monthly reporting for AP/AR including Work in Process Have a working knowledge and can produce accurate financial statements Assist with financial records to produce for pre-qualifications, banks, and bonding companies Maintain an accurate asset list for accounting purposes Supports other staff, managers, departments, with tasks as requested.
Experience with Quickbooks a MUST
Experience with ERP systems, Procore, Sage, or other construction management software a plus
First 6 months in office & possible 1 day remote
