Position Summary:
Responsible for coordinating the changes to systems and technologies within IT and assists in ensuring staff members embrace the change management process. Also responsible for maintenance of the configuration database,
Essential Functions and Responsibilities As Assigned
Assists with the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meeting, membership list, and reporting
Communicates with the business units regarding their individual changes and the change process
Reports Request for Change (RFCs) to be approved and results of RFCs
Distributes the results of CAB decisions
Assist with change record creation training
Executes configuration management process controls, ensuring that staff comply with process and data standards.
Processes updates for the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) as requested
Schedules the training of new asset and configuration coordinators
Ensures regular housekeeping of the asset and CMDB data
Produces reports and management information, including impact analysis reports and status reports
Identifies opportunities and submits proposals for improvement with respect to tools, training, process, procedures and work instructions
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years of relevantInformation Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management experience or Change/Configuration Management experience.
OR
Associates degreein Information Systems, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Science or related fieldPreferred:
ITIL Foundation certification
