Tellepsen is looking for talented individuals for our Project Management group ranging from Assistant Project Manager to Sr. Project Manager levels in various market sectors.
Assistant Project Manager duties:
Assist Project Manager in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, and arranging for assignment of project personnel.
Prepare special reports or studies that involve research, development and/or interpretation of data and be performed with little supervision or instruction.
Assist in the coordination of project personnel activities to ensure project progresses are on schedule and within prescribed budget
May advise Project Manager of potential problems, work interference’s, schedule difficulties. Assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as required.
More specifically, have the ability to expedite material deliveries, submittal management, RFI management, and PCO management.
Depending upon the project and Project Manager, other responsibilities may be assigned.
Project Manager duties:
Complete understanding of the Contract Documents.
Document Management
Create and maintain all project logs (Procurement, Submittal, Change Proposals, etc.)
Develop and Maintain the project schedule utilizing P6 software platform.
RFI & Submittal Management
Manage changes to project scope, schedule and budget.
Efficiently conduct all project meetings in a professional manner including development and distribution of minutes.
Project Finance Management (Job Cost, Invoicing, etc.)
Project Close Out
Coordinate project personnel activities to ensure project remains on schedule.
Provide technical assistant (interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods, etc) as needed.
Lead the project’s quality process and principles.
Take an active role in preconstruction efforts.
Maintain positive relationships with our partners and clients.
Sense of Urgency and drive to be the best.
Qualifications
Strong leadership skills
Detailed and hands on approach
Client focused
Proficient in the use of technology including project management software, Procore, Primavera scheduling software.
Assistant PM: 3+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably within Tellepsen’s core market projects.
Project Manager: 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably within Tellepsen's core market projects.
Bachelor’s degree required (Construction Management related field preferred.)
Completion of OSHA 30
