For NursePractitioners: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferredA master\'s degree in nursing is required. Graduate of an accreditedAdvanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program is required. A master\'sdegree in Family Nurse Practitioner specialty is required for staff thatreport to Workforce Health. Requires current state of WisconsinRegistered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from aparticipating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). Certificationas an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin StateBoard of Nursing is required. Certification by the American NursesCredentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners(AANP) is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Supportfor the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent isrequired upon hire. Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEAregistration are required or must be eligible to obtain.
