About Business Intelligence Analyst, AFX - Business & Product Operations (BPO)

AWS offers over 100 fully featured services to millions of active customers around the world—including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—to power their infrastructure. Business Product Operations (BPO) is a diverse team that supports infrastructure and other foundational initiatives that span and support Sales, Marketing and Support teams within AWS.

BPO needs a creative, dynamic and results driven business intelligence professional who wants to build and create the data and metrics framework that will support Private Pricing globally. This role is a critical part of the team that is launching the latest services into the market and ensuring that our customers get to experience our full range of products first hand before they buy. This job requires a strong sense of ownership and ability to deal with ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities

Develop models and KPIs that explain the health of the business in a way the enables BPO leadership to make informed decisions

Data collection and consolidation to be used in business reviews, operational planning, capacity planning, and executive leadership reporting.

Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights and present written business recommendations to leadership in a clear and compelling way.

Ability to precent data to AWS leadership for decision making purposes.

Strong communication skills including writing and ability to communicate with business partners, Product Manager, and technical partners.

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience

Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
