About Webinar Event Planner (Virtual Corporate Events)

  Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Webinar Event Planner to join our dynamic Marketing & Communications Team to manage a high volume of virtual corporate events for the firm.

  The Webinar Event Planner supports client-facing webinars and virtual events and meetings for our practice groups and industry and strategic initiatives teams. This position works closely with lawyers and marketing and business development colleagues, including practice group, industry, and strategic initiative support teams, creative and branding, and web and database teams, and our information technology department.

  Candidates must be self-motivated and detail-oriented, tech-savvy, committed to excellence in the workplace, and have outstanding organizational and anticipatory skills, with a client first approach. This position requires the ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.

  This role can be based in any one of our Boston, Houston, New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C. offices with a hybrid in-office/remote work schedule.

  Key responsibilities:

  Coordinates logistics for virtual marketing and business development webinars, including individual events, meetings, and series.Maintains marketing and business development webinar and virtual meeting and event calendars.Develops project plans, tasks, and timelines.Coordinates technical needs, including conference room reservation, configuration, and equipment, and communicates login, registration, and instructions.Conducts test runs and trainings in virtual platform for speakers and colleagues.Liaises with technical support teams on technical issues.Webinar and virtual event administration including developing scripts and serves as host during events, advancing slides, polling, and fielding questions.Assists with creating invitation lists and pre-and-post emails.Coordinates CLE applications and submissions.Ensures webinar and virtual event recordings are saved to the firm system of record.Fields and summarizes post-event surveys.Tracks and analyzes registration and attendance data and prepares performance reports.Obtains and documents feedback from departments, practice groups, industry and strategic initiatives teams, and event attendees to measure participation ROI.

  Experience and qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of relevant virtual event working experience in a corporate environment (training coordination, meeting and event planning, project coordination and management), preferably in a law firm or other professional services organization.High proficiency in Webex is required.Additional expertise in other virtual event platforms including ON24, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams is strongly preferred.Ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.Must be proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and database applications.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Availability to work overtime.

  For positions in New York, NY, the salary range for this job posting in $71,815.00 - $114,904.00.

  The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and the firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, firm or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
