Description Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join a well-respected company. The director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills in order to be a part of the management team. This may be the role for you if you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Comply with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements

　　Develop financial analysis prior to contract negotiations and product investment decisions

　　Supervise all financial reporting preparation

　　Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives

　　Create and manage five-year business plans along with department managers

　　Aid in developing department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget

　　Supervise financial planning and budget management functions

　　Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

　　Take the lead on all financial and accounting operations

　　Maintains and reviews budgeting and forecasting models

　　Oversee insurance and risk management

　　Decide on benchmarks for comparing the operating and financial performance

　　Hire, train, and retain finance staff Requirements - Knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems

　　Very detail oriented and expert analytical thinking skills

　　Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

　　10+ years of accounting and finance experience

　　Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, accounting, and finance principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

　　MBA or CPA is preferred

　　High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
