Visiting Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies,Middlebury College, MIDDLEBURY, VT - The Lois \'51 and J. HarveyWatson Department of French and Francophone Studies invites applicantsfor a full time, one year position, open in specialization beginningfall 2024. We are seeking outstanding teachers with demonstratedexperience in teaching language at all levels. The successful candidatewill be expected to teach elementary and intermediate language courses,as well as upper-level content-oriented courses all by creating animmersive French language environment. Applicants must have native ornear-native command of French (this includes all its varieties:European, Caribbean, North American, African, etc.) and must havecompleted all Ph.D. requirements by August 2024. Candidates must showevidence and/or promise of excellence in teaching students from diversebackgrounds.
