　　The Arc Wayne of Newark, NY, a Human Services Agency, is looking to hire part-time, 1:1 Teacher Aide to support individual child/children to adjust to the classroom environment as well as assisting the child/children to function adaptively within the class day and routine. 　　1:1 Teacher Aide Responsibilities:

　　Aids individual child/children to adjust to the classroom environment as well as assisting them to function adaptively within the class day and routine.

　　Consistently follows through prescribed Behavior Intervention Plans.

　　Actively engages with students on a consistent basis.

　　Responsible for assuring the personal safety of children in all settings throughout the day including gym and outside play.

　　Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to support children in assigned classroom as well as other classrooms as needed.

　　Aids the classroom teacher with daily activities.

　　Maintains a good rapport with parent(s)/guardian(s) during contact in program and in the community.

　　Work Schedule: Monday Friday (7:30am 2:00pm) 30hrs
