As a Validation Technician in the Network and Edge group you will:
Perform execution of validation test plans, test sequences, and directed tests to ensure adherence to validation standards and procedures.
Support validation testing and debug, lab shipping and receiving logistics, and inventory management of equipment and materials.
Drive commissioning and qualification of equipment and equipment systems, maintains lab environments, equipment, and tools for hardware testing. Installs, uses, and updates hardware lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and function generators.
Apply knowledge of validation industry standards and best practices to drive automation and improvement of the validation process, tools, and methodology, and proliferates learning across sites.
Collect, organize, and document test data, develops new validation documentation, and maintains validation documentation through the validation lifecycle.
Collaborate with Architecture, Verification, Validation, and Software and Tools teams for PCB and/or other hardware rework and troubleshooting validation problems.
The Validation Technician should possess the following attributes in addition to the qualifications listed below.
Should be a self-starter, able to drive tasks to closure.
The candidate should have strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Qualifications
What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
High School diploma or equivalent.
8+ years of industry work experience.
4+ years’ experience network adapters and background with networking products.
4+ years’ experience with VMware and Linux.
1+ year of experience with Intel Network Adapters.
How to Stand out (Preferred Qualifications):
AA degree preferred.
Experience with Cloud networking application management.
Experience with advanced network configurations and technologies.
Experience with networking or system administration.
Experience with other open-source distributions such as FreeBSD.
Knowledge of deployment and usage models for NICs, VMware, and DPDK.
Experience with virtualization and related technologies.
Knowledge of updating firmware and drivers.
Experience with hardware or system level debugging tools.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research
