Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Utility Technician to join our team in Ludington, MI.
As aUtility Technician, you will:
Performsmall fabrication, racking installation, repairs and maintenance. Inspectwelds and fabricates racks as needed. Facility and equipment clean-up and supports the engineering department on plant reconfigurations.
Schedule is from 6:00am-6:30pm, Friday-Sunday. OT voluntary!

Required Qualifications:
The ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
The ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs with assistance
Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship
High school graduate or equivalent (equivalent is defined as equivalent degree OR job specific work experience OR combination of education and job-specific work experience)
Preferred Qualifications
2 years manufacturing experience preferred
1 year hand welding and fabrication experience preferred
Skills and Knowledge
Strong mechanical aptitude required.
Must be able to weld and fabricate replacement/new parts for rack repair
Must be able to identify specific rack types and areas needing repair.
Ability to inspect and perform acceptable welds
Ability to utilize appropriate electronic production system to complete job duties, along with the respective technology tools, e.g. personal computer (PC), tablet, keyboard, mouse, RF gun.
Ability to read and follow prints, drawings, and engineering specifications.
Ability to organize workload, troubleshoot, and effectively communicate with others.
Ability to frequently lift/move material weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to flex work schedule as business demands.
May be required to obtain and maintain valid hi-lo license.
May be required to obtain and maintain valid scissor lift and JLG license.
May be required to obtain and maintain fall protection certification
