　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　The Utility Employee performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving material and assists with a variety of functions that help with the daily operations of the Dredge. This is a very physically demanding position, that requires a lot of manual work.

　　ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

　　Operate assigned equipment in a safe and efficient manner including Dredge, pickup truck, skid steer loaders, backhoe, and mini-excavator.

　　Understand and follow all Federal, State, Local, and Corporate safety regulations and policies.

　　Capable of climbing a ladder, reaching overhead, bending, pulling on wrenches, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

　　Capable of working at height and in confined spaces.

　　Capable of shoveling wet, sticky, material for extended periods of time.

　　Capable of safely operating a cutting torch.

　　Support and assist in routine maintenance as directed by management.

　　Notify Plant Supervisor of any maintenance or repairs needed.

　　Will be required to maintain a clean working environment.

　　Willing to work outside in all types of weather.

　　Willing to learn additional tasks and take on multiple roles as needed.

　　Other duties as assigned.

　　QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

　　2+ years of welding experience, preferred.

　　Knowledge of equipment preferred.

　　Prior farming experience preferred.

　　Ability to work overtime/weekends as needed.

　　Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

　　Must possess the ability to solve problems quickly and independently.

　　Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.

　　WORK ENVIRONMENT:

　　Perform all work in accordance with YBP Safety policies.

　　The work is performed outdoors and/or indoors, enduring heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, and other elements.

　　Capable of operating various types of heavy equipment and/or machinery.

　　PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

　　Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting – up to 50 pounds.ADDITIONAL INFO:
