The Training Fleet & Operations Specialist is a member of the Dealer Training Operations team, and is responsible for all aspects of planning, managing, and administering the fleet of vehicles that are used to dealer training.
The highly motivated candidate will have a keen eye for detail, interpersonal skills as they will be working closely with dealer training managers and other company departments to plan, analyze, manage, and administer all fleet vehicle procurement, usage, and disposals. The position works as part of a small cohesive support team and under the supervision of senior team member on various operations projects as needed.

Principle Accountabilities & Deliverables
Plan & Coordinate Fleet Vehicle Needs - With training managers, plans future fleet vehicle orders to support dealer training activities; With other company departments, coordinates vehicle build and delivery schedules, and informs affected parties; Communicates with all involved parties as changes occur in order needs or fulfillment;
Manage Fleet Vehicle Usage - Arranges and facilitates fleet vehicle transportation within the US as needed using allocated budget; Coordinates compliance with all US regulations and BMW Policies affecting Pre-Production vehicles including camouflage, driving restrictions, etc.; Administers vehicle incident/accident reporting; Coordinates vehicle damage repair, as may be needed; Manages fleet parking allocations per company policies;
Analyze Usage and Administers Fleet - Updates and maintains fleet tracking systems, prepares reports as needed to support fleet management; Ensures vehicle use complies with US Customs regulations for all pre-production vehicles; With training managers, analyzes fleet usage to support effective use of training vehicle fleet; Assures fleet vehicles are appropriately licensed and insured; Acts as company's agent to ship and receive vehicles per the vehicle plan/schedule; Oversees vehicle prepping and returns; Handles all vehicle returns and disposals per company policies and applicable government regulations; Coordinates logistics for inter-departmental needs to maximize fleet usage.
Other operations duties as part of the Training Operations team, including:
Coordinates Records Retention practices within department.
Performs as a CCMS contract system advisor to training business units within department.
Coordinates and presents quarterly Fleet Review for department.
Track, monitor, and escalates issues or potential issues to manager. Tracks cases handed off to insure they are closed satisfactorily.
Support operations team with ad-hoc requests as needed with reporting, p-card transactions or misc. IFT items.

The pay range for this role is: $59,077.00 - $73,735.00.
The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate's Degree Preferred.
Minimum 2 years experience in a Fleet Specialist or Manager capacity, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years experience managing projects with diverse stakeholders.
Must possess a valid driver's license with an absolutely clean driving record; must be insurable.
