Job Overview:This position is responsible for the following: performing a variety of procedures related to specimen processing; confirming the accuracy of test orders and appropriate specimen collection and reporting laboratory findings to the physicians and nursing personnel; facilitates the identification and isolation of pathogenic organisms and operates a variety of laboratory instruments; utilizes laboratory computer system in performance of duties.
