The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that day-to-day client service and quality targets are achieved within the Health Department.
The candidate will be responsible for negotiation and placement of Private & Commercial Health Insurance programs for both new business and renewal clients.
The Role
• Ensure accuracy of Placing Slips, Policy Wordings, Quotes, Endorsements, Debit Notes, Cover Notes, and Summary of Insurances
• Processing of documents on the Broker System and filing on the DMS within required time frame
• Produce accurate and updated renewal information to the business
• Understand and discuss client’s requirements with the market, negotiate risks accordingly and obtain the best deal / quote from the market.
• Respond to client’s queries and requests for Guarantee of payment (“Prise en Charge”)
• Ensure adherence to Group Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure Compliance with Local Policies & Procedures
• Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches
• Assist the Business in developing new products
• Track Key Performance Indicators
• Ensuring All Deliverables Align With Client Objectives, Leverage WTW Standard Tools And Templates, And Adhere To WTW Professional Excellence Standards
• Assist with other special projects on an ad hoc basis
The Requirements
• Diploma or Certificate in Insurance field or any other relevant degree
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the insurance sector
• Be proactive, flexible and demonstrate a keen willingness to assist fellow colleagues.
• Ability to meet deadlines, pay attention to details and thrive in an environment that is always changing
• Computer Literate, Word, Excel, Power Point
• Fluent in English & French
